Product Certification Exams

Product certification exams are available again this year for Convergence attendees at a special rate of $150 per exam ($200 value). All exams will be accessible online only via the Corrnerstone Success Center and the discounted rate will expire on May 18, 2020. No on-site exams will be available and no extensions will be permitted.

  • Core System Administration

    Core System Administration

    The Core System Administration Certification exam is a 2-hour multiple choice proctored test of 70 questions that validates a candidate’s abilities to perform essential system administration functions in any Cornerstone solution, regardless of the modules that are implemented.

    Individuals who pass this exam will earn the Cornerstone System Admin Practitioner certification credential.

  • Learning Administration

    Learning Administration

    The Learning Administration exam is a 2-hour multiple choice test of about 60 questions designed for candidates who can perform essential system administration tasks in a Cornerstone Learning solution. Qualified candidates can perform basic Learning module administration, configure and manage Learning Preferences, use training tools, create and manage learning objects, and run training reports. Candidates should have experience administering a Cornerstone Learning solution for at least one year prior to taking the exam.

    Individuals who pass this exam plus the Core System Administration exam will earn the Learning Admin Specialist certification credential.

    Exam Topics include: General Administration, Learning Preferences, Tools and Functions, Learning Objects, Reporting

  • Compensation Administration

    Compensation Administration

    The Compensation Administration exam is a 2-hour multiple choice test of 60 questions designed for candidates who can perform essential system administration tasks in a Cornerstone Compensation solution. Qualified candidates can perform general Compensation administration tasks such as configuring Base and Bonus types as well as using email and reports. Qualified candidates can also manage employee salaries, configure adjustment guidelines, and create and manage Compensation templates and tasks. Candidates should have experience administering a Cornerstone Compensation solution for at least one year prior to taking the exam.

    Candidates who are interested in earning the Cornerstone Compensation Admin Specialist credential must pass both the Core System Administration exam and the Compensation Administration exam.

  • Performance Administration

    Performance Administration

    The Performance Administration exam is a 2-hour multiple choice test of about 60 questions designed for candidates who can perform essential administration tasks in a Cornerstone Performance solution. Qualified candidates can perform basic Performance module administration, configure and manage performance reviews, competencies, observation checklists, goals, and development plans. Candidates should have experience administering a Cornerstone Performance solution for at least one year prior to taking the exam.

    Individuals who pass this exam plus the Core System Administration exam will earn the Performance Admin Specialist certification credential.

    Recruiting Administration

    The Recruiting Administration exam is a 2-hour multiple choice test of 60 questions designed for candidates who can perform essential system administration tasks in a Cornerstone Recruiting solution. Qualified candidates can perform basic Preferences configuration, set up application and pre-screening processes, create and post job requisitions, set up and generate offer letters, configure emails, and run Recruiting standard reports. Candidates should have experience administering a Cornerstone Recruiting solution for at least one year prior to taking the exam.

    Candidates who are interested in earning the Cornerstone Recruiting Admin Specialist credential must pass both the Core System Administration exam and the Recruiting Administration exam.

    Succession Administration

    The Succession Administration exam is a 2-hour multiple choice test of 60 questions designed for candidates who can perform essential system administration tasks in a Cornerstone Succession solution. Qualified candidates can perform general Succession administration tasks using email and reports. Qualified candidates can also manage aspects of Universal Profile as related to Cornerstone Succession, configure My Team and Talent Profile preferences, and create and manage SMP templates and tasks. Candidates should have experience administering a Cornerstone Succession solution for at least one year prior to taking the exam.

    Candidates who are interested in earning the Cornerstone Succession Admin Specialist credential must pass both the Core System Administration exam and the Succession Administration exam.

  • Cornerstone HR Administration

    Cornerstone HR Administration

    For candidates who can perform essential system administration tasks in a Cornerstone HR solution. This includes managing users, compensation, and forms as well as creating reports and interpreting report results. Candidates should have experience administering a Cornerstone HR solution for at least one year prior to taking the exam.
