ANALYST KEYNOTE: Them, Me and We - The Evolution of Employee Engagement to Employee Experience

Over the past two decades the relationship between employer and employee has evolved from a transactional one, into one of engagement. But engagement of the individual with the organization is not enough. Engagement is giving way to employee experience – an experience that brings together HCM technology, strategy, and leadership to help the organization align and deliver customer results.

Organizations are also realizing that their human capital technologies need to deliver more than just one experience. They need to be powerful transaction engines for administrative users. They need to be simple to use and be meaningful for individuals. And they need to deliver information that helps business leaders make better decisions.  These are very different views of the role of technology – solutions for them, me, and we.

Based on the latest research from Aptitude Research Partners, this session will address how top performing companies are leveraging their investment in human capital technology to bring to life to an employee experience based on:

  • Communication: Bridging the gap between employer and employee through more frequent and bidirectional communications.
  • Personalization: Providing a personalized experience to meet the needs of HR practitioners, business leaders, and employees from one unified solution.
  • Simplification: Lowering the barriers to access information and execute key process so people can focus on the work and the results.

To make the most out of each release, it’s critical your organization has a process in place to prepare, learn, test, and adopt the upcoming system enhancements. Having an effective release management process is something that many successful Cornerstone clients have in common. Join us to hear first-hand how Michele Berroth, Applications Systems Analyst III and Marichris Soriano, HR Technology Analyst at Dignity Health, has formalized a release management process that maximizes the value of each release cycle for their organization.

Emerging Trends in Learning & Performance: Shift Your Performance Discussions Towards Development for Growth

Over the last few years, we have all observed new trends in performance management including companies adopting more frequent and ratingless performance review processes. Adopting these new trends has obvious recruitment, engagement, development, and compensation implications. Traditionally, there is a misalignment between performance management, employee development and organizational health. In this session, we will explore several emerging trends through examining case studies of companies using these new performance management concepts, diagnose your current performance strategy, the benefits the latest trends have on employee engagement as it pertains to performance management, as well as discerning between learning activities and development achievement.
